Weld check

Visual weld inspection belongs to non-destructive testing and is widely used in weld seam inspection as the first examination. It is the simplest examination method and requires no specialised equipment. Everything is done by the naked eye with the necessary inspection tools.

So the welder or person in charge does a visual inspection to assess the workpiece based on recognised procedures.

The idea is that visitors should visually inspect a weld by using inspection tools.

One must therefore also be able to say what is wrong with the weld and are also additionally tested theoretically on their knowledge of the various examination methods.

The candidate with the best result is then awarded a prize.
